Springboard Road Show Foundation is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the laws of Ghana in 2011. Springboard is co-founded by Albert Ocran and Comfort Ocran, who have over two decades of experience in the youth development space.
The Foundation operates from Accra-Ghana and delivers its various interventions across Ghana. In 2011, in addition to traveling across all regions of Ghana, Springboard’s flagship annual Road Show visited Nigeria and Gambia.
Springboard Road Show Foundation has a proven impact, having empowered over 500,000 alumni and reached 23 million youth through innovative multimedia programs.
Our scalable programs are designed for replication across Africa, ensuring widespread access to entrepreneurship, leadership, and career development opportunities.
Through strategic partnerships with global organizations such as Mastercard Foundation and Solidaridad, we continue to expand our reach and effectiveness.
With a strong online and traditional media presence, we engage millions of young Africans through impactful media content. Our initiatives are deeply aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in education, gender equality, and economic growth, driving long-term, sustainable transformation.

Foundation & Early Impact
Springboard Road Show Foundation was established as Ghana’s leading youth entrepreneurship and talent development promoter.
Launched the nationwide Springboard Road Show, engaging tertiary students, graduates, and young professionals.
Over 300,000 young people participated in various mentorship and entrepreneurship programs.
Began documenting success stories of young entrepreneurs who built thriving businesses.
Expansion of Youth Engagement & Mentorship
2010: Expanded the Springboard Road Show to reach more secondary and tertiary students.
2015: Introduced the TEENPreneurship bootcamp for ages 12-17.
2018: Launched the Ladies Empowerment and Advocacy Development (LEAD) initiative for young women.
Strengthened corporate partnerships with MTN, Enterprise Group, UMB Bank, and other sponsors.
Developed continuous education platforms through publications, radio, TV, and online programs to reach a wider youth audience.
Mastercard Foundation Partnership & CoRe Programme
Recognized for its impact, Springboard partnered with Mastercard Foundation for the COVID-19 Recovery and Resilience (CoRe) Programme.
The program reached approximately 23 million young people through e-Learning, e-Mentoring, and e-Counselling.
Published 200 success stories of young people recovering from COVID-19, many with an entrepreneurial focus.
Policy Influence & National Impact
2021: Partnered with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to host Springboard Youth Dialogues, engaging Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on youth unemployment and entrepreneurship.
2022: Ghana’s national budget, themed “Building a Sustainable Entrepreneurial State,” reflected a strong focus on youth entrepreneurship, influenced by Springboard’s initiatives.
Ongoing: Continues to collaborate with government, corporate Ghana, business leaders, and young innovators to drive youth empowerment and entrepreneurship across Africa.
Over the next five years, Springboard is poised to scale up on the progress made to implement a series of collaborative partnership projects concurrently in its core areas of expertise, namely, entrepreneurship promotion, job creation and financial literacy. These high impact initiatives, with the potential to affect millions of young people, are at various stages of conceptualization and development.
As part of its continuing efforts at institutional capacity building, the Foundation has recently reconstituted its five-member board with competencies in governance, audit, fundraising, communication, information technology, gender and inclusion, youth development and human resource.
In the medium term. Springboard expects to leverage on the successful implementation of various projects in Ghana to extend its services into other African countries.
